Ok, i think it’s time you finally try Green Symphony. It’s on 44th between 7th and 8th (closer to 8th) and they really are great for when you feel like you need a healthy lunch that actually is tasty.
Note: avoid the wrap sandwiches which are ho-hum at best.
The “dali lama” bowl is great, lots of ingredients and dumplings. The vegan soup of the day is consistently good (and i’m a serious soup snob), but be sure to ask for some crackers or bread to go with it. Their kale salad is properly massaged and softened (order the version from their menu, not the make tour own salad vesion cuz then it’s not the madsaged kale). The juices and smoothies are fantastic and several dollars cheaper than anywhere else. The “almond greens” smoothie is my favorite- i ask for blueberries instead of banana because i hate bananas. Note that some of the green juice are very green and not for the faint of heart 😉 The owners are korean, so the bi bim bop is surprisingly good of not ideal due to their kitchen limitations.
Anyways, it would be a great addition to your list for tourists as an option for breakfast or lunch in the godforesaken area of times square/port authority. There are several tables and such, never a problem to get one. (You’ll be sitting next to the actors and dancers of nearby broadway shows)

    • Thanks Ttrockwood. Will keep it in mind. Never even heard of this place. But considering its in the ‘Danger Zone’, shouldmt come out as a shock
